The Village Lansing's 8th annual trunk or treat
Join us THIS HALLOWEEN for The Village Lansing's 8th Annual Trunk or Treat!
We host this event during trick-or-treating hours each year to offer a safe, inviting, and family-friendly environment where neighbors and community members can gather to celebrate together!
Come out to the former Reo Elementary and enjoy free trick-or-treating, a live DJ, dozens of decorated community trunks, a costume contest, Halloween voting activity with the Lansing City Clerk's Office refreshments, and a haunted walk down the hallways.
Bring your family and friends—we can't wait to see you!
Trunk Host
Trunk Hosts are the heart of our event! Our event is powered by Trunk Hosts who are community members, neighbors, local businesses, and represent local organizations.
Trunk Hosts pass out candy all night long, and are encouraged to dress up and decorate their vehicles!
Volunteer
From promotion and preparation to welcoming Trick-or-Treaters to keeping our candy supply flowing, volunteers are the backbone of this community event. We have a wide variety of roles and shift options available to fit your schedule.

Candy Drive
Candy Drive
We support our Trunk Hosts by back-filling candy throughout the evening to ensure that everyone can participate, and that Trick or Treaters' bags leave packed to the brim!
Donations are accepted throughout October. You can drop-off candy directly, or send a monetary donation here
